Palette Flavour variety packs explained (Freemax Maxus)

Flavour variety packs advice for Liverpool, covering palette, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.

Local availability in Liverpool shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Expect roughly 1146 full puffs from a charge at 10 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.

Local availability in Liverpool shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.

Battery behaviour is where the Wismec Reuleaux earns its keep: the 650 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 40 and recharges over USB-C. We would pair the Wismec Reuleaux with a 20:80 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.

The Emerald finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For tank lovers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.

If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 20:80 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Liverpool shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price.

Airflow control on the Wismec Reuleaux is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 40, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.

Charging over USB-C takes about 48 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.5 Ω regular coil is the newer generation. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.

Comparing this against a 20:80 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 3.5 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.

These are the figures that matter day to day, and the ones worth comparing across models.

Flavour and performance notes

A representative profile is Mango Tango Ice: sweet, tropical, described as ripe mango warmed by a light menthol coolness. On a 20:80 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.5 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.

Practical considerations in Liverpool

Availability in Liverpool is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.5 Ω regular and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
